The first time we assembled this dish it took less than
60 seconds. The bolts that go through the dish reflector screw
into captive threads so nuts on the back are not needed. 2 bolts hold the dish to the metal back plate clamps and 2 nuts
provide adjustment. The
push fit LNB support arm takes one seconds to locate.
Corrosion protection is provided using a Polyester RAL7035
powder coating dish reflector. The one piece back plate is an
ABS type of injection moulded strong plastic integrated design. The elevation adjuster and pole clamps are
galvanised.
The LNB support arm (boom arm) is made of
aluminium. Many dishes these days now only use one U clamp to save costs.
This dish uses two U clamps. The double U clamping design ensures a more rigid opposition to high winds and prevents
turning on the pole. This dish will clamp to poles from 25-50mm diameter. Gain 36.4dB. A high quality product. Very good
value considering the higher grade materials used and the superb performance. A version of this dish is available
with
wing nuts for mobile caravan / motorhome use and as a full
mobile dish kit with stand, cable etc.
This dish is
ideal for Freesat or
Sky TV from Astra 2 at 28E. It will work on this satellite in the UK and Northern France.
It will provide more signal than a Sky mini dish. It can also be used for Astra 1 at 19E from the UK and most of western Europe.

when used in the UK. Extensive testing shows this dish to work very well for the Sky or freesat channels from Astra 2
when tested by customers in the south of France where signal levels are weak. If you draw a line between Bordeaux and Lyon,
above that line a 60-80cm dish will be fine for all of the UK channels from Astra 2 at 28E, however, below that line a larger

from 48mm to 60mm diameter. Ideal for use in the South of France on the Astra 2 satellite. This 1.3m dish is ideal for

These are heavy duty high wind load dishes kit ideal for use in high salt "near the coast" locations. Especially ideal for
the high wind and salt areas of the east coast Scotland and Ireland. Clearly the fibre glass dish cannot corrode and the
double clamp heavy mount on the back uses a much heavier gauge steel and is hot dipped galvanised. Very high quality dish

Explaining the LNB options - Universal LNBs are used by "world" receivers, freesat non-recordable and Sky HD receivers.
Sky Q™ and Freesat 4K recordable receivers use wideband LNBs. Hybrid LNB with 6 outputs are twin wideband LNBs and a quad
universal LNBs all in the one package. This is ideal if you have different types of receivers in different rooms. To summarise, single,
twin and quad universal LNBs are used with most satellite receivers. Wideband and hybrid LNBs are used with Sky Q™ and freesat
4K recordable. Quatro LNBs are used with multiswitches. Twin wideband LNBs or quatro LNBs can be used with Sky Q™ multiswitches.

We think so for the following reasons. 1. The AZEL mount is 0.5Kg heavier. Thicker materials. 2. The AZEL mount is hot dipped
galvanised rather than just powder coated. 3. The centre arm is very a rigid extruded aluminium rather than circular tube.

Technical - Thermoset-moulded glass fibre reinforced polyester for strength, rigidity and surface accuracy. Gain 42.0 dBi
at 11.95Ghz. 3dB beamwidth - 1.6 degrees. Cross polarisation - 30dB. Collar fits a 76mm (3.0 inches) pole. Raven dishes
are manufactured by Skyware Global. These are the highest quality heaviest duty 1.2m dishes available. The aim of the
manufacturer was to produce a dish which was high gain, capable of high wind loads and has long term durability.
This is most likely the best 1.2m dish in the world. Designed for high wind loads.
Raven AZEL mount included. The AZEL mount uses a collar and fits onto a 76mm or 3-inch pole.

This shim is designed to convert a 76mm pole to 80mm.
Example of use - the
Primesat motor unit
for the motorised Raven (formally "Andrews" and before that "Channel Master")
1.8m dish is designed for an 80mm pole but will fit on a 76mm pole. It is, however a better fit if the 76mm to 80mm
Primesat shim is used. 80mm poles are not a standard size in the UK and so this shim was developed to make a perfect
fit between the Primesat motor unit and a 76mm (3inch) pole.
2nd Example - the
Primesat motor unit for the
motorised Raven (formally "Andrews" and before that "Channel Master")
1.2m dish is designed for an 80mm pole but will fit on a 76mm pole. It is, however a better fit if the 76mm to 80mm

We used to sell original Raven arms, however, whilst sourcing Raven dishes is not a problem, the factory will no longer
supply Raven arms. We have therefore manufactured our own arms for the Raven dishes using stainless steel.
These new very high quality arms include a new stainless steel feed support boss (LNB bracket). The arms are
adjustable and so we supply details on how to set them up to be the same length as the original arms and how
to "fine tune" the focal length. Included are the 3 arms and the 40mm LNB feed support clamp. All metalwork
is 100% stainless steel. If you are using a
Raven feedhorn, the feedhorn comes with 23mm to 40mm spacers.
